Store Drop-Off (How2Recycle)
Operated by How2Recycle / participating retailers · Available nationwide
A retailer-sponsored program collecting plastic bags, wraps, and other flexible film packaging that curbside recycling does not accept, at collection bins inside participating grocery and retail stores.
How it works
Look for the How2Recycle Store Drop-Off label on packaging, or check plasticfilmrecycling.org's official locator for a participating store. Bags/film must be clean and dry, no food residue.

Free
Not accepted
Most curbside programs explicitly reject plastic bags/film, this is a store-drop-off-only material.
