Separate items by category before arriving (paper, cardboard, glass, plastic, metal cans) into the labeled boxes provided on-site.
Accepted items
An unstaffed drop-box facility for paper, cardboard, glass, plastic containers (#1-5 and #7), and metal cans, per the City of Houston's official Kingwood & Clear Lake Recycling Centers rules sheet. Electronics recycling is offered separately as a monthly event only, the first Saturday of each month, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, residents only, not during regular hours. Also listed as a seasonal Christmas tree drop-off site in the department's official holiday tree-recycling news release.
