- City of Houston residents. Recycling-only visits require a current Texas-issued ID; hazardous waste or bulk drop-off requires a Texas ID plus a current City of Houston utility bill or lease agreement with a matching address.

- Paint limited to 25 gallons. Propane and helium tanks limited to 5 gallon size. Tires limited to 5 per residence per month, no commercial vehicle tires.

Preparation instructions
Lawn equipment must have all fluids removed. Pool chemicals must not be wet. Do not attempt to break down or strip TVs before drop-off.
Accepted items
Also accepts acids, aerosol cans, antifreeze, brake fluid, degreasers, drain cleaners, fertilizers, herbicides, kerosene, mercury, pool chemicals (not wet), power steering and transmission fluid, solvents, thermostats, and turpentine, per the City of Houston Solid Waste Management Department's official list.
